We are a small firm by design. Every matter is handled by a senior advocate who knows the client, the file, and the context — not passed down a chain of associates.
Founded in 2014, Y. Habari & Co. LLC has built its practice around a single proposition: international clients — particularly Israeli and Middle Eastern investors — deserve a legal partner in Cyprus who understands their needs, speaks their language, and can anticipate the complexity that arises at the intersection of two legal systems and two cultures.
Our caseload is concentrated in four areas: real estate and property transactions, company formation and corporate structuring, immigration and residency, and banking and finance. These disciplines are deeply interrelated in the work we do, and we handle them as a single, coordinated practice rather than as separate departments.
Y. Habari, Managing Partner
Y. Habari is the founder and Managing Partner of Y. Habari & Co. LLC. Admitted to the Cyprus Bar and a registered member of the Nicosia Bar Association, he brings over twenty years of legal experience to his practice in Cyprus. The firm was established in 2014, building on an extensive background in cross-border legal advisory. His work focuses on the legal and commercial needs of Israeli and international clients investing or relocating to Cyprus — across real estate, corporate structuring, immigration, and banking.
Y. Habari advises in English, Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, French, German, and Armenian. He has developed particular expertise in cross-border transactions where Israeli and Cypriot legal frameworks intersect, and where the quality of local relationships — with government offices, financial institutions, and counterparties — materially affects the outcome. He has guided clients through some of the most significant private real estate and investment transactions in Cyprus.
He maintains active working relationships with banking institutions, real estate developers, and institutional investment partners across Cyprus and Europe.
A small team. Full accountability.
We operate as a deliberately small practice. Every member of the team plays a defined role, and there is no gap between the person you meet at the outset and the people who do the work.
Our approach to client service.
The typical client comes to us with a transaction, a decision, or a problem — and often with several of them at once. They may be purchasing property and structuring a holding company simultaneously, or obtaining residency while opening a bank account. We are equipped to manage these in parallel, as a single coordinated engagement rather than separately filed matters.
We work in English, Hebrew, Greek, Arabic, French, German, and Armenian. We communicate plainly. We give considered opinions rather than hedged positions. And we operate with the understanding that our clients are typically experienced investors who need accurate guidance, not basic explanations.

For larger investment and development mandates, Y. Habari & Co. LLC works in close partnership with a European business group active across institutional investment, cross-border development, and alternative asset transactions. This relationship allows us to provide clients with advisory capabilities that extend well beyond what a boutique practice would typically offer, while maintaining the direct, personal service model that defines the firm.
Who we advise.
Our clients are international — individuals, families, and businesses who have chosen Cyprus as a destination for investment, relocation, or corporate structuring. They come from across the Middle East, Europe, and beyond, typically at a point where they need a trusted local partner who understands both the legal framework and the practical realities of operating here.
We advise private clients acquiring property or establishing residency, entrepreneurs and business owners forming companies and structuring their affairs, family offices managing cross-border assets, and institutional investors entering the Cypriot market. The common thread is a need for clear, experienced, multilingual legal counsel in a jurisdiction that rewards those who navigate it well.
Cyprus is a full EU member state with a common law legal system, a competitive tax framework, and a quality of life that continues to attract international capital and talent. We have spent over a decade helping clients make the most of that position.
